After 20 years establishing our credentials through providing complete engineering solutions to a wide range of blue chip industrial clients, the board of Cross Services Engineering made a strategic decision in 2007 to extend its expertise into the nuclear sector. Critical to our decision to move into this sector was our award winning health and safety record and a recognition by the board that our mix of skills meant we had the experience and expertise to enter this highly specialist area of the market.
Cross Services is now proud to announce that it has secured its first nuclear-related project as principal contractor for Studsvik, creating a new and pioneering Metal Recycling Plant at Lilly Hall in Workington. This is a complex and challenging project which will draw on our range of specialist technical engineering services in a highly regulated arena of metals recycling.
Arising from this project we are now actively seeking further nuclear related projects in which to develop our expertise in this area, with a focus on rigorous health and safety and delivering maximum value.
